I had nearly melted my phone in an oven. But enough about me and my foolishness... I went into the store and asked to have the charging port replaced. This was me trying to diagnose the problem and find a cheap way out. I just wanted to get the USB port working to the point where I could talk to it. Well, that didn't work out (not their fault at all), so I let him make the next suggestion. I decided to let him do his job and less than 24 hours later he had it working perfectly! I am very happy with the service.

I was having one of the worst days imaginable. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., I was stuck trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone. After going to the Apple Store, I was told my motherboard was completely destroyed and that there was nothing they could do. My only options were microsoldering or data recovery, both quoted at $700+.

Normally, I wouldn’t hesitate to pay if it meant getting my data back. The photos and videos on that phone were incredibly important to me, especially since my grandma had recently passed and those memories were all I had left of her.

After grabbing food and clearing my head, I searched Google Maps for microsoldering shops. The first place told me to “wait a minute” and then hung up on me. The second place was PC EMT.

Zo, the owner, answered the phone with: “Every day’s a good day here at PC EMT, how can I help you?” I explained what was going on, and right away he was skeptical of Apple’s diagnosis. When I mentioned microsoldering, he said, “Bring it in. Let’s take a look.” He sounded genuine and kind, so I immediately drove over. I live in Cumming, and they close at 6, so I got there around 4:50.

When I walked in, I held the door for an older woman ahead of me. Zo was incredibly patient, honest, and respectful with her, not trying to upsell or take advantage in any way. That alone told me I was in the right place.

When it was my turn, Zo remembered our phone call and brought my phone back for his technician to inspect. After opening it up, he noticed the phone was actually very clean and intact, except for a small Face ID component near the top. He brought me to the back, showed me the part, and explained that it might be the only issue. We agreed to try replacing it.

While I waited, Zo and I just talked about life. We laughed, joked, and had real conversation. After the day I’d had, that alone meant a lot.

In the back, I overheard Zo and his technician Mason say something along the lines of, “Let’s clear this guy’s frustration and save his memories.” Not long after, Zo came out smiling and said, “Your passcode works,” his way of telling me my phone was back on.

Mason finished reassembling the phone, I paid, and just like that, a day full of stress, tears, and frustration completely turned around.

From now on, for as long as I’m alive, PC EMT is the only place I’ll ever take my devices. Zo and Mason didn’t just fix my phone. They saved my memories, and they did it honestly, compassionately, and at a price that didn’t make me feel taken advantage of.

Totally understand why these guys have so many 5 star reviews. Had my gaming PC in and out within 48 hours, and that included an 18 hour stress test to make sure everything was working properly. They answered every question I had, most of them before I even had a chance to ask, and explained exactly what they did with photos to back up their work. I recently had my phone screen replaced at Phone Phone Place Woodstock, and I have to say their service is excellent. At first, I thought the screen quality wasn’t great, so I went back the next day to explain my concerns. Without any hassle, they replaced it with another screen for free—no questions about receipts or payment. On top of that, they reassured me that I still have a 3-month warranty if anything happens.

Their prices are fair, the service is fast, and they really stand behind their work. Pretty genuine guys—I’m really happy with how they handled everything. Definitely recommend them!

I had called 4 different places before calling PC EMT to get my Surface Pro 6 repaired — all of whom told me to get a new computer. Zo and team were awesome. They got it fixed when no one else could, provided reasonable prices, and had it ready for pick up the next week. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Brought in a mini-PC in which the display suddenly stopped working. Turned out to be a RAM issue. Zo clearly went through the process of running the diagnostics, obtaining/installing parts, and estimated time of repair. Cody completed the repair and when I came for pick-up walked me through the repair process and confirmed that the display, as well as all ports, were functioning appropriately. Seemed reasonably priced. I foresee myself returning for any other computer related issues!

If you're a relatively broke college student and you messed up any of your tech stuff, I would so recommend having this place fix it for you and for a reasonable price too! My laptop screen was basically destroyed and they fixed it for half the price I was quoted at compated to other places. Riley did a great job fixing it and walking me through what exactly he did as well as really making sure everything is in mint condition. Al (? I hope I heard the name right) was also a great communicator and did a wonderful job letting me know about everything. Not to mention, they got it all fixed in less than a week!! I never write reviews, but this was hands down such a solid experience.

What a pleasant experience!
I contacted PC-EMT on Saturday. Zo was so friendly and helpful on the phone. He accepted me as a quick walk-in. I needed to recover my company laptop asap. In person, he was even nicer and offered me drinks while he worked on my laptop. He recovered it in 1 hour. Meanwhile I saw many happy customers. One lady even gave him a hug 😃 I knew I was at the right place. At the end he just charged me a fraction of what I thought I should pay for this kind of service. He made me a lifetime customer.

I've been here before for my iPad and the service is still as great as I remember! This time I went because my new OnePlus had been accidentally tossed into the laundry and I was worried about water damage, so I remembered how good the service was here the last time I came and contacted Zo through email. It was late at night so I was surprised when I saw he had already replied ! He told me I could come drop it off the next day, which is what I did. The price was definitely reasonable and he had my phone ready that same day. He let me know the speakers sounded crackly but that the phone should otherwise work. When I came home, I made a few test phone calls and realized the other person couldn't hear me at all, so I contacted Zo again on if he could do anything about it. He researched and let me know the next day when I came in what he was capable of doing, and I spent about 15 minutes there while he cleaned the speakers and worked on my phone. When he gave me my phone back, I called my mom and she could actually hear me! He didn't charged me for having to bring it back either. I'm very glad with the condition he left my phone in and am glad to have such a great business near me. Zo is kind, respectful, honest, and I would recommend his services to anyone who needs them.

After a deadly late night spill of hot tea with milk and honey into my laptop. PC EMT came to the rescue.
I called them Thursday morning and brought in my laptop. While I waited, Zo's team removed the hard drive, ran a recovery test and determined they could retrieve my data and put it on an external drive. It would take 2 days but a full recovery meant I wouldn't lose my most recent data which wasn't backed up. The laptop however, while recoverable would take considerable time to clean and reassemble. It was 4 years old, upgraded to Win 11 and starting to run slower than I wanted even after bi-weekly maintenance. For a little more than the cost to fix it, I decided to purchase a refurbished 17" HP laptop. They configured it with Win 11, and placed all of my recovered data in a desktop folder.

What service?! I dropped off my tea soaked laptop on Thursday afternoon and picked an external drive, my old drive and a similar laptop with all my data on Monday. The best part, it was already configured. I only needed to turn it on and personalize it to my liking and network.

PC EMT's service was professional yet personal. Zo diffused a very panicked situation and I left feeling confident that my data was safe in his teams capable hands. They delivered on time, for a fair price, but everyone's friendly and calming demeanor made all the difference.
